- To wrestle with the tough political issues that might prevent movement in this area

I was shocked at how many people attended the two recent ELI webinars on the topic of analytics. With that kind of energy, it seems natural to form a ComETS group. Especially since doing analytics "right" would involve data from a number of campus sources.
