For #11 and/or new item:
Can we post a mission statement for the subcommittee on the top of the subcommittee Drupal page? I'm not yet clear on what exactly our purpose is - a handy reference would be great.
For example, should we be keeping tabs on Online Access Consortium and the A/V Club, which both overlap with CoMETs interests in some way. Or is that sort of thing outside our mission? Want to avoid scope creep. :)
Concrete suggestion, depending on the nature of our mission: assign one ComETs member (anyone, not just on our subcommittee) who happens to be also a member of another group to forward ComETs-relevant material from that group to the main ComETs e-mail list or post publicly to ComETS site, and vice versa for ComETs stuff relevant to the external group? As a way for plans and decisions by external groups that impact us to be put in the viewfinder of all ComETs members?
