- Jo Ann Carr - "We are proposing the formation of a Learning Spaces SIG in ComETS (see
theComETS web site at http://comets.wisc.edu/). We need a a planning
group for the SIG. This group would develop a proposal for the ComETS
Steering Committee that will include our mission statement and potential
projects and goals. - Examples of projects could include a web site with
faculty and student responses to specific learning spaces (TLE), a virtual
tour of learning spaces on campus (TLE), identification of faculty who could
share their experiences in teaching in specific spaces (TLE), etc. We will
also need to have a liaison to the ComETS Steering Committee." - Use TLE site as a resource

- Subcommittee websites (jt): a number of our SIGs and subcommittees have specific website needs that don't quite fit the model of the current site. Some have existing static webpages, which they will need to edit, while others appreciate the CMS flexibility and would like to individualize a bit and push things further. The question is more technical than political--how can we make this work for everyone?

Assessment Council Grant (Moira)

- Discussed the need for tools to track progamatic objectives, learning outcomes
- Where are surveys being done? Who's collecting what? Is it possible to share data across groups?
