Title: Focusing on Strengths and Opportunities for Professional Development
Date: Wednesday, December 8, 2010
Time: 9:00-10:30 am
Location: 21 N. Park Street
Note: REGISTRATION REQUIRED (see below)
Description: We all know that professional development is important, but getting it can seem like a luxury when we're pressed for time and resources. We can overcome many of these challenges by:
- expanding our definition of professional development
- identifying and developing our strengths
- taking advantage of opportunities that fit within our budgets (both time and money)
At the workshop we'll explore all of three of these strategies. Don Schutt, Director of the Office of Human Resource Development (OHRD), will lead the discussion about strengths.
There is no fee to attend the workshop. However, registration is required. Go to
by Friday, December 3 at 12:00 noon. A minimum of 8 participants is required to hold the workshop.
Hope to see you there!
