The University of Wisconsin-Madison campus (and beyond) is invited to explore what a Campus Media Captioning Solution could look like. Automatic Sync Technologies will share examples of lower-cost and faster than traditional captioning including search and funding model.  Different approaches to large scale captioning will be explored and the pros and cons of each approach. Issues of accuracy, cost, timeliness, and scalability will also be examined.

About the speaker: Pat Brogan, Ph.D. Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Automatic Sync Technologies – Dr. Brogan previously was with echo360 (captures class lectures and converts them into podcasts, video, rich media, and more for anytime, anywhere playback) and managed the partnership between echo360 and Automatic Sync.
