eInstruction requires an association with a class roster. Class rosters are created when students register their clicker using CPSOnline. To do this, they will need your class code, which is created when you create a class in the CPS software.
Downloading a Roster
To download a class roster into CPS, follow these steps:
- Launch CPS software
- Choose the Classes tab.
- Click the Import button.
- Choose CPSOnline from the Import Source box and click Continue.
- Choose Higher Education and click Continue.
- Enter the username and password created during registration and course creation.
- Choose University of Wisconsin - Madison and click Continue.
- Choose the course roster to download.
NOTE: This will not update your roster until after you have provided your students with your course code and your students have registered their clickers via CPS online.
