eInstruction Local Support

small logo

UW-Madison Special Interest Group

There are a number of local support options available for instructors using eInstruction. First and foremost, instructors interested in using eInstruction should join the Campus Clickers Special Interest Group. This is a group of local faculty and support staff who are using or supporting eInstruction. By joining the SIG you can e-mail a listserv of local users questions you might have and hear about local events and training sessions on eInstruction.

It is important that you become familiar and comfortable with the eInstruction CPS software before you are in front of your students. Meeting with a learning technologist can help you both become more familiar with the software and curricular redesign issues. It is recommended that you connect with local support personnel or a consultant from Academic Technology before the start of the semester if you are interested in using eInstruction. Local support personnel that you can contact for a consult include:

Keep in mind that these support personnel support many technologies and may not have all the answers to detailed technical questions about e-Instruction and CPS. You always have the option of contacting e-Instruction technical support, who we've found to be responsive and helpful.

Classroom Support for Audio-Video Problems

Instructors using eInstruction in a general assignment classroom who require technical assistance with the Audio-Video equipment can contact Classroom Media Support staff for assistance. Please do not expect them to be experts on eInstruction however.
